I just seen an article by Jason Whitlock of Fox Sports saying that Ball State, lead by Nate Davis, is his pick for the BCS party crasher this season. Good Luck to Nate and the Ball State Cardinals.

I'd really like to believe that, but even if the Ball St. defense is twice as good as last year thay are among the worse in the MAC. IMO, poor field position caused by the defense really hurt Nate and his stats. It seemed they were always starting drives deep in their own territory.

I agree with EastOhio. To be a really good team, you have to have a good defense and I don't think Ball State has one. I do wish the best of luck to Mr Davis.

I'd really like to see Nate have another great season. If he does, you may be seeing him on the sidelines on Sundays next year.
Home of the Bellaire Big Reds 632 wins and counting
