Baltimore Ravens .....
Lost 21 - 27 to the New England Patriots
Glad to see the blackbirds laying an egg. (Even if it was to the "cheaters" from the east.)

Cincinnati Bengels .....
Won 23 - 20 in overtime over the Cleveland Browns
Cincinnati's Palmer impressive with his 230 yards passing.

Pittsburgh Steelers .....
Won 38 - 28 over the San Diego Chargers
Pittsburgh's Mendenhall very impressive with 165 infantry stripes, as well as Roethlisberger's 333 passing

Cleveland Browns .....
Lost 20 - 23 in overtime to the Cincinnati Bengals
If the Browns ever want to climb out of the celler of the American Conference North, keep Anderson as starting QB. STOP ROTATING QUARTERBACKS .....

Hopefully Pittsburgh can re-enter the American Conference North race with a win over Detroit this weekend. I'm sure the Steelers are not taking the 1 - 3 Lions for an easy win. Anything can happen in the world of football.
I know there are Brown fans lurking in the shadows here in the valley, but how many Bengal fans are there? Now's the time to strut your stuff. Being tied with the beloved Ravens for first place is quite an accomplishment for the "other" team from Ohio down in Tiger-town.

Well, the "other" team from Ohio stands alone in 1st place in the American Conference North standings.
I've got nothing against the Bengals, but, I believe their 1st place status will be short-lived. The "loved by all" Ravens as well as the Steelers will be licking their chops at that 1st place position this week. Also the Browns seem to have awakened, and maybe, just maybe, will enter the 4 team race.

It will only be a three way race Bill the Browns have to much turmoil. Hopefully the Bengals can keep it up. The only good thing about Joey G not getting much playing time with the Pats is I do not have to root for them.

I know where you're coming from. I still am a big fan of Joey Galloway, (I have a NFL football signed by Joey in my rec-room), but I can not stand the Patriots and their two-faced coach. That's all I care to say about that subject.

Cincinnati Bengals .....
Lost 17 - 28 to the "Lone Star State" team.
This just might be the beginning of a downward spiral for the Marvin Lewis coached squad.

Pittsburgh Steelers .....
Won 27 - 14 over the Lake Erie based Browns. This win moved the Black & Gold up a notch in the North standings. Roethlisbergers' 417 passing yards as well as Wards' 159 receiving yards seemed too much for the Brownies.

Baltimore Ravens .....
Lost 31 - 33 to Minnesota. Although Baltimore put up one heck-of-a fight, the Vikings, led by Favre, were ahead at the final buzzer, sending the "dirty -birds" to the showers.

Cleveland Browns .....
Lost 14 - 27 to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Although being outplayed to the tune of 417 - 122 passing and 28 - 12 in first downs, Cleveland managed to keep it respectable. This makes it 12 straight losses in a row for the Browns against the Black & Gold.

Figures, now that high school football season is all but over in the All American Town. Well, as they say, there is always next year but even that depends on who the head Red is.

Mr. Bonar has expressed that he really does not wish to return as head coach of the Big Reds. He reportedly made that statement to one of his next door neighbors. Take it for what it's worth .....

Has anyone heard that Mr Bonar may be our new AD?
