Last year was the worst team in Bellaires history. But I believe that these kids can turn it around with a lot of hard work. What is everyone's thoughts?

I'm sure they will improve, how much ?????? It seems kids today have no problem with giving up and quitting. If you quit one sport then you'll just look for an excuse to quit some other sport.

At this point in time I have'nt heard anything reguarding the quarterback situation at Bellaire.....
But why wouldn't Feller return as quarterback???

Feller can be a very good QB if the line can learn to block. They were very young last year & with hard work hopefully they will improve & give the running backs holes to run the ball. The O line is the key next yr.

Two things I would like to see Cantor play defense & I hope he runs the ball between the tackles instead of trying him on sweeps.

Bellaire needs some size at running back and a line that is wiling to block. On the defensive side of the ball, some good old fashion tackling skills would pay huge dividends.

I'll second that. Eric Canter was unstopable yesterday at the OVAC Championships .....
I too think he would be a force to be reconded with on defense if he had the chance .....

I 'm glad that you guys posted about Eric but that should have been on another forum. This is football. As for him playing defense, he may be a good tackler but he is way too short to be a db.

He is a good tackler? That makes him a step ahead of a lot of others.

I think his family is a lot more important than the Big Reds.

When you get a chance, look up the 2006 and 2007 staff and post those names on here. I think you got something there.

Frank ..... If you feel the need for a collection can at
Dairy Mart, put one out for donations for our new fieldhouse at Nelson Field. And while you're at it, throw in a couple of bucks. lol
