Welcome to OVSports The_Lone_Wolf.

OK you got our attention. We know the Riders return a bunch next year that is not new news. What is the big news that you talking about? I have heard rumors of Ferry making a "BIG" change in thier schedule. Are they"RED"y for this?

If they do, I hope they play them the week before we take our trip to Ferry.

I don't think Ferry's schedule is going to change. Other than Linsly Ferry's schedule is good. I would love to see almost anyone but Linsly. They do nothing for points, small school, if not for a home game every year it would be worthless. They don't even bring anyone to the games. :(

I haven't heard anything about that. However, I would like to see it.

Unless there has been a recent schedule change that I'm not aware of, Steubenville has an open date for week 9.

I would love to be playing Steubenville. I think most Ferry fans want to see it.

As for the big news, no comment.

As for the schedule, I believe that is the same as last years' (nfortunatley). Agree with 71 Trap, Linsly is nothing more than a home game on the schedule. As for the "Big News".......again, I go along with 71 Trap.........."no comment"

(Most likely 08 schedule)
Buckeye Local Away
Edison Home
Harrison Central Away
Linsly Home
Union Local Home
West Muskingum Away
Indian Creek Home
St. Clairsville Home
John Glenn Away
Bellaire Home

John Glenn Week 9. Keep an eye on SVille if they pick someone up for a 1 year contract in this years week #9, that could tell a lot if Ferry/SVille will play in 09. Also, keep in mind the B-8 is a floating league schedule not fixed so week 9 could be filled with (Example) Harrison, if Harrison has week 9 open and both teams can fill week #3 easier than week #9.

As for this year the only game that has a very tiny small chance to be changed is Linsly. I just don't see Ferry buying out the last year of it's contract to have to play a away game.

Steubenville has a few contracts that run out after 2008. One of them is Watterson. I have no idea if there will be a new contract. Also, all of the out-of-state schools (excluding Park) are scheduled on a yearly basis.
