The Steelers are coming off a pretty successful preseason. I'm going out on a limb here and predicting the Steelers over the Browns by 14.
Although the game will be played at Cleveland. (Home of the beer bottle throwing dawg-pound)

OK, So the Browns looked bad today, what else is new? The good news is there are 15 weeks to go to improve.

The Steelers who lead in the overall series between these two rivals looked pretty good sunday. Of course there are a lot of things to work on this week in practice.....
But the new coach should be congradulated in his first win as the Steelers head coach. He's has to fill some pretty big shoes, as Coach Bill Cowher was 21-5 against the Brownies including 2 playoff wins against them.
Pittsburgh has now won 8 in a row and 14 out of the last 15.
Going by the past decade performances and sunday's game, the dawg-pound crew has pretty much sewed up the basement position in their division .....

SERIES: 111th meeting. The Steelers and Browns series is tied at 55 apiece, although the Browns lead the regular-season series, 55-53. Pittsburgh has won both playoff games. Since their return to Cleveland in 1999, the Steelers have dominated them. They are 14-3 against the New Browns, including one playoff win, and have won 13 of the last 14. Pittsburgh has won seven of the eight games it has played in Cleveland Stadium.

Pittsburgh looked pretty good against the Browns last week, I hope the Browns can make some improvement this week but it won't be easy. The Bengals are tough. I did hear that Quinn make get some PT this week. I doubt that will make enough difference but if we can get some improvement, that will be a start!!

I don't know if I would say very good. A team that gives up 51 points can not be that good. Can anyone say Marv on the hot seat.

Steelers look AWESOME so far this season. Really dominated a 2-0 49'er team today. Now they have to prep for their trip out west next weekend against Arizona .....

Steelers had a somewhat lackluster performance against the Cardinals this past weekend. With Hines not even dressing for the game, and Troy sitting out the majority of the game, the once undefeated Pittsburgh ball club fell to 3-1. But like the "new" coach said, injuries are just a part of the game ..... every team has to deal with them.
The black and gold will just have to put this game behind them, get the injured healed up, and prepare for the Seahawks next weekend .....
